A little bit about me

I love working with children and am so blessed to be working in what I love! I get to work with kids from birth-teens. I have the privilege of teaching them their colors, making them laugh, kissing boo boos when needed, helping with homework etc... I enjoy every part of childcare. I was a Lead Preschool teacher for nearly 5 years! I graduated with my Bachelors in Family and Child Development and I am CPR and First aid certified. I also spent some time as an infant nanny, so I have great infant experience! I also have experience with minimal special needs, but I am up for any task! My childcare philosophy is that I believe that children are capable and competent, have absorbent minds and take in what they learn through their play experiences. Children are curious, full of wonder and need to explore to discover and learn! I am loving, caring, fun, and I pay very close attention to detail. I love teaching children as well as learning from them! I also love dogs, as I have two of my own!
