A little bit about me

I'm 18 years old, the oldest of 12 children so I grew up having to raise kids of all ages which is where most of my experience stems from. I also worked at the YMCA for almost two years for their before and after school care and their summer care program. During my time there I worked with kids ages 4-10 but most of my time with the littles. I've lead classes and field trips, I helped kids do homework, problem solve with peers, reached out and gave constant updates to parents, and much more! I've never nannied for a family before but I've babysat countless of times kids all ages as well. I'm excited to work with families and learn more as I go! I do have CPR/AED training!

I currently work as a substitute para, I worked a a staff for the YMCA as a teacher and I have never ending babysitting experience!!!

I love to read books, color, do crafts, go for walks, use chalk, play at the playground and any other fun activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me is just making sure that not only are the parents comfortable with me but the children are too. Children's voices will forever be heard and understood by me, its easy for a parent to find someone who they think is fit for their children but the children should also have a say in it as well. So as long as i'm a nanny I will always do my best to make sure the children are comfortable and the whole family is happy with my services.

I have a younger brother who is autistic so that's where I started to get some knowledge and experience and I just recently started working as a Substitue Paraprofessional.
