Hello, Im Somer, I’m 44, love kiddos! I have a 12 year old son, I own a salon in Oswego, and also have my daycare assistant teaching license too. I nannied for about 10 yrs while building my clientele and all thru my 20s until I became a mommy in my 30s! I have lots of experience with special needs, scaling from autism of every scertrum to other sensory needs as well with kiddos and adults too. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Many years as a teen babysitting for family and friends. I also nannied for a few families through my entire 20.s until I became a mom when I was 32! I also have my daycare assistant teaching cert and worked with every age group from infant to pre k age! I loved all the age groups but am looking for something more personable and one on one, especially helping with some fun curriculum too!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love every minute I have with my son , and his baseball things he’s in now! We love hanging out , playing games , being outside , or watching a movie! I love crafting and decorating.
And the love of my career of doing hair I take very passionate!

Communication, the ability to multitask but in a very hands on way and making sure the kids are situated and cared for at that moment

My experience with special needs children...

I have lots of experience with special needs , autism of every other many spectrums , scesory issues with kiddos too, also downs and other special needs of all ages as well, not just little ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Every summer taking the littles and as a mother taking my son to the pool or splash pads , and parks ! Some of my favorite moments with me son were at differant parks in the area ! We did a fun “ adventure day” and he would choose whether to go left or right , as we approached a stop light , I would let him pick and whichever way he chose we would find fun things to do all day , from parks to ice cream , or I would surprise him with play dates!
