A little bit about me

The reason I was prompted to begin a career in childcare was a result of my sister needing assistance in caring for my two year old niece. Of course I agreed to help her without any hesitation. The experience I received from caring for my niece put a desire in me to want to care for other small children as well.

My first real job in childcare began as a daycare provider. This role allowed me to work with children in various age groups. I remained in this role for a few years and later transitioned into a full time career as a nanny. Some time later I decided to pursue a degree in nursing at Atlanta Technical College with plans on becoming a children's nurse. Unfortunately due to time conflicts and financial burdens I was unable to continue on with my studies. Nevertheless; I believe the knowledge I acquired during this time can be of value for the following position.
