I’ve cared for children in an elementary school volunteering for first graders helping with school work and reading, I’ve helped take care of special needs kids plus helping babysit my friends little siblings.

I love baking with kids, doing their hair, doing some fun makeup on them, getting to know them, I can help with schoolwork, teach them life long things to know like gardening, taking care of the house, etc. I love drawing and doing artist things and I’m ok with doing anything the kid wants to do as long as it’s safe and if I’m not sure I will always check in with the parents/guardians.

I feel like the most important part of being a Nanny is respecting the kids parents and following all the rules, I will do whatever I can to cheer a kid up and communicate with them, I will always make sure to keep the kids safe and to have a kind and caring environment. I’m very responsible and will always be respectable of the space, child, and parents/guardians. Im a very reliable person and put having fun right under safety.

I’ve helped kids with anxiety, depression, autism, learning disabilities, Intellectual disabilities, and emotional and behavior disorders. I’m always open to help with anything I can and cheer people up.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A memorable moment I’ve had with a kid was when I was volunteering for first graders and it was free time, all the kids were hanging out with their friends and I saw one of them being left out so I went to go hang out with them, helped them finish their work early and we made a really cool building with blocks, the next week when I came to the school the kid and a couple others saw me at the door and ran up to hug me. I really loved those moments cause I felt like I could finally give back the help I was given and that I could understand what they needed cause I was once in that position to. Connecting with kids is something I will always love.
