Never EVER lay your hands on a child when they are disobeying. Always use your words and tell them to use theirs as well so they learn communication, not violence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One time I was caring for this kid, Grayson. And me and Grayson were baking cookies. I was teaching him how to measure ingredients and I gave him the salt and said, “Alright this is all you this time buddy!” He ended up pouring the entire box of salt into the bowl because he thought I gave him sugar. But I just didn’t have the heart to tell him what he had done. So we finished making the cookies. And still to this day he doesn’t want me to cook for him anymore because I make bad cookies! 😂
