Hey! I'm Sophie. I am a very dependable, responsible, and loving individual looking for a family to care for! I really enjoy caring for, playing with, and helping children learn and grow. I love keeping them busy with educational things like, playing outdoors, going for walks, playing at parks, and doing arts & crafts. I have been around kids for most of my life since I have 3 younger siblings, and started helping my mom care for them when I was young. I currently have the privilege of caring for a young girl, and have been for the past 2 years, but I am looking to get more hours. I have also had the opportunity to care for an adorable 16 mo. little guy for the past 10 months. When my last child entered preschool I began taking new born photos at 3 hospitals part time. In 2004 I began work as a school Nurse in New Lenox. I worked as a school nurse there for 13 years then moved into the classroom as a classroom nurse/ Paraprofessional. I have worked with grades kindergarten to 6th grade.
