A little bit about me

I am 22 years old and have been working with kids since I was a young teenager as a babysitter and ballet teacher. Currently, I am a part time student studying Environmental Science. I have been both a part-time and full-time nanny for three families in the last few years, caring for infants and children up to 10 years old. My favorite part of childcare is getting creative with play! From building forts to making art, having dance parties, or visiting museums, libraries, and parks. I find the kiddos have the most fun in an environment that supports free movement and expression through pretend play (and as much time outside as possible!!!). With each child, I prioritize learning their interests and needs in order to eventually create a sense of security for our time together. I am definitely open to additional tasks like light house keeping, meal prep, and animal care as needed. Thank you!
