A little bit about me

I am 21 year old, and I grew up in a big humble Polynesian family, I am the youngest of 5. I was raised with all of my 1st cousins & babysat all of them including my nieces and nephews. I am currently working as a harmons fresh pack associate. And I love to be outdoors on my free time & play pickle-ball. I took child development classes in high school & also worked in our high school preschool/daycare with toddlers ages 3-5. And gained some experience in potty training over there. Additionally, I love annimals & have a couple fur babies myself and have a passion for working with kids & keeping them safe & making them feel protected. I love to clean/organize anything and everything it gives me a peace of mind. I love doing hands on activity’s or different science experiments to try keep them off of their devices.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In my high school preschool/daycare class, we cared for children ages 3-5. We taught them to be potty trained and rotating them in groups of 3 and finding different activity’s for their age group. I also grew up babysitting my little cousins, nieces, and nephews of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, and science experiments for children, or even just outside sports or just enjoying nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think what matters the most about a nanny is someone who has a lot of patience, respect, compassionate, and also having good communication skills. Also being a good role models for the kids and keeping them safe & protected.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when we would drop the pre schoolers off outside to their parents the kids will cry cause they didn’t want to leave me & that filled my heart up with joy because it made me feel like I’m doing something right.

Daria F. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Babysitter Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Daria F.

Hi! My name is Daria. I'm from Reno/Tahoe, Nevada and am in SLC for school! I'm studying Exercise Science and love to be outside and be active. I started babysitting for neighbors and family friends casually at age 13 and began doing it more consistently since I was 16. I am a natural care taker, and prior to moving here, I was the primary in-home care for my 88 year old Nonna. I also love cooking and meal/ingredient prep, and as part of my degree I am studying nutrition and love to apply that to my cooking. I really enjoy childcare because you get to see how rapidly kids develop and learn about the world, and watching that progression is so rewarding!

Alexus Q. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Part-Time Nanny Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Alexus Q.

I've been babysitting since I was 11 years old and have loved interacting with younger kids. I have babysat kids of all ages and am comfortable with any age. I've also been a nanny for the past 2 summers. I am CPR and first aid certified. I always clean up after myself and make sure that the house stays as clean if not cleaner than I found it. I have a car and valid driver's license if kids need to be taken anywhere. I also have a younger brother, so I am used to interacting with younger children. I worked as a summer camp counselor as a younger teen for a few years. I love helping kids explore their passions and hobbies through creativity. I also have a high GPA and can help with any homework, reading, or academic assistance while babysitting. I would love to see if we're a match!
Jenna T. - Seeking Work in Salt Lake City

Full-Time Nanny Available in Salt Lake City, UT: Jenna T.

Hi! My name is Jenna, and I come from a big, family-oriented background that naturally shaped my love for working with kids. I grew up in a family of seven and have 17 younger cousins, so caring for children has always been a part of my life. From a young age, I’ve helped watch and care for my younger family members, along with babysitting for families upon request.

I also have experience as a gymnastics coach at Jonesboro Gymnastics Academy, where I worked with around 500 kids each week ranging from ages 5–16. This role taught me how to manage different personalities, keep kids engaged, and create a fun but structured environment where they feel safe and supported.

I’m patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun. Whether it’s helping with routines, playing outside, or assisting with schoolwork, I aim to create a positive and reliable presence for both children and parents.
