I started babysitting in 8th grade after taking the course at Staples High School (through the Red Cross) and receiving the Red Cross certification. Since then I have babysat many families in my neighborhood with children ranging from 3-15, with many repeat customers. While on the job I have made dinner for them (as specified by the parents), helped them with their homework and put kids to sleep on time. Last year I went for a refresher for babysitting through the Fire Department, receiving proper training and getting recertified in First Aid, CPR and AED.
