More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have two grown children, a 30 year old daughter and a 24 year old son. I also finally have a grand-baby! I owned and operated my own childcare business from [phone number hidden] (until we moved to Missouri). I have an Associates degree in Education and in Business Administration as well as a Bachelors in Accounting/Financial Management. I have childcare experience basically through my whole life beginning at age 8 when my sister was born, babysitting all through high school, my own kiddos, my preschool structured daycare business, and more. I’ve always had a ‘knack’ for childcare and enjoy spending time with children. Currently, the children in my life include my 2.5 year old grandson and my 6 year old great-nephew. I have another grandson on the way, due in June.. My Fridays are devoted to my grandson while his parents are at work. I also get visits from my great-nephew sporadically for up to 7-10 day visits
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My back isn’t in as great of condition as it once was so I won’t be roller skating or sledding, but I would be happy to take children to participate in any activities requested. I’m happy to play in the sandbox, sprinklers, at the park, etc. Despite the back issues, I can do floor play, carry and hold the toddlers. My absolute favorite thing to do with children is to WATCH THEM LEARN! It’s such a fulfilling feeling when you visibly see the moment a child grasps a concept or idea.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing for any child is love. Teach them love and kindness so they continue to spread it to others.
I also believe structure/routine is a good foundation for children as it teaches them consistency and allows them to feel safe in their expectations of what happens each day.
I can commit to 2 days per week for childcare. The days and hours are flexible except for Friday when I watch my grandson. If I were to be your consist childcare provider 2 days each week, I would prefer that they be the same 2 days each week as that helps me plan my appointments and activities outside of those hours.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with a child diagnosed with PTSD and ADHD. I have also have some experience with a child diagnosed with ODD. So, I have a bit of experience with psychological special needs. I also have a strong educational background in psychology. However, I have not had experience with children with physical special needs over age 2.
My rate is $15 per hour for one child on weekdays and $20 per hour on weekends. Each additional child is an additional $5 per hour.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve never been a nanny. My favorite moments with childcare in general would have to be the greeting (once the child(ren) know me). It’s a good feeling to know they are excited and happy to spend time with me.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Oak Grove, MO: Autumn C.
Hi there! Since a child, I've always adored babies and cared for my baby dolls as if they were real. My older sister is a full-time nanny, started babysitting at 12, ages from newborn-12years old. This experience aided in my babysitting knowledge as a child. I enjoyed so much watching and learning her ways as she cared for them, even when it was 6 kids at a time. From newborns to toddlers, I will be willing to drop any plan or activity to be able to babysit, it's one of my favorite things to do! I am SO willing to play for hours and hours, have fun trips to the park and ice cream dates, and be there unconditionally to love and care for you're child and know that they are happy and safe. As I've gotten older, my love for children has only increased more and more. As a volleyball player, I love sports and am willing to play for hours outside on end, and as an animal lover, play catch with you're puppy and kid! Whatever it takes to have fun while being safe, it's my favorite thing to do.
