A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Stephanie! I’m 30 years old and was born and raised in Tomball, Texas. I graduated from Tomball High School and went on to earn my degree from Sam Houston State University. I know the Houston area like the back of my hand and I used to live in Dallas for over seven years!

As one of five siblings and an aunt to six nieces and nephews, I’ve been around kids of all ages my entire life. I’m outgoing, active, and love spending time outside or going on fun adventures. I’m young at heart and believe in being a positive influence, creating a safe and supportive environment for kids to grow.

I’m responsible, protective, and very aware of my surroundings, so you can trust that your child’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I also have a reliable car for transportation and errands.

At home, I adore spending time with my Sphynx cat, George, who’s a year and a half old. I’d love the chance to bring my energy, care, and reliability to your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, including infants, children, preteens, and teens. These experiences have given me a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of how to provide personalized care, meet individual needs, and create a safe and nurturing environment. Being one of five children has given me a lot of confidence and experience!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy doing with children include both indoor and outdoor adventures! Indoors, I love fostering creativity and imagination through activities like building forts, baking together, and engaging in pretend play or crafts. Outdoors, I enjoy taking walks, teaching kids about nature, playing sports, and encouraging social interaction through fun and engaging activities. Whether inside or outside, I aim to create a fun, enriching experience that keeps children active, curious, and excited to learn!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is setting a positive example for children to follow, ensuring their safety and protection, and fostering a fun and supportive environment. It’s also about teaching them valuable lessons, whether it’s helping with homework, teaching life skills, or guiding them through social interactions.

Additionally, building trust and open communication with both the children and their parents is key. Creating a nurturing environment where children feel loved, secure, and encouraged to grow emotionally, mentally, and physically is at the heart of being a great nanny!

My experience with special needs children...

Experience where I also cared for children includes my time as a special needs caregiver during high school and college, where I supported a fellow high school student with his daily needs, such as doctors appointments, school work and simply just being a friend to give him fun experiences!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My absolute favorite experience is being able to remain a part of the children’s lives even after my time as their nanny has ended. While it’s always bittersweet when they no longer need a nanny, it’s incredibly rewarding to be invited to milestones like graduations, birthdays, or even just catching up as they grow older. Watching them thrive as teens or young adults and knowing I had a small role in their early years is such a joy. It’s truly heartwarming to see how much they’ve grown and to continue being part of their lives in some way.
