I was a nanny for a 3 month old and a 2 year old for a year and a half. I was a foster parent for a 4 year old, 4 newborns and a 6 year old. Plus I worked with a special needs child who was also wheelchair bound, he was 10 years old. So

I have experience with mentally and physically handicap children. Im comfortable with using a transfer board, and working with wheelchairs. I also have experience with kids who are mentally handicap and have a hard time talking and communicating which can be frustrating for the child.
