Greetings! With over 28 years of experience as a preschool educator, I have dedicated my life to nurturing young minds from just 6 weeks old to 12 years of age. As a proud mother, grandmother, and devoted dog mom, my heart is brimming with love and warmth. I Resided in beautiful North Carolina for the past three years, I've cherished the joy of helping raise my three incredible granddaughters, aged 17, 4, and 3.

My journey extends beyond traditional preschool education; I've also embraced the role of Montessori teacher assistant, diving into a world where self-directed exploration, hands-on activities, and collaborative play are celebrated. My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many children who were strong willed. Wanted things their way at all times. Children who were blind, and other things. My philosophy is children learn only what they are taught and showed. It only takes a gentle, heart, and soul to love a child no matter what they have going on. A child threw chair at me many years ago, he was so angry and sad inside. I grabbed and hugged him so tight, tight enough… he felt my heart beat and my calmness. He turned a corner after that day… and today he’s a Veterinarian in Los Angeles.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Was nannying my own grand~daughters for almost four years. Watching them grow right before my eyes was a true blessing. I now have a grandson due 12~25, I’ll be taking care of him soon, starting with preparing my daughter for his birth, cleaning and organizing her home, and helping them with sleep and feeding. One of my most memorable moments is when I see kids that I have taken care or taught and their all grownup. “Ms. Stephanie I remember you taught me how to tie my shoes” or “Ms.Stephanie you would pat my back until I fell asleep” Or even seeing a child out in public, they always look so surprised when they see me. Like: “ what is she doing here” they figured I lived at the school :)
