A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Summer. I am 28 years old and I have worked in childcare officially for 5 years. I work with clients on the ASD spectrum so I have a lot of varied experience with children who are special needs. I primarily work with children between 2-6, professionally. However I have a lot of experience with watching and babysitting children from the ranges of 6 months to 13 years old.

I am married and am doing school part time. My husband and I have been together for a decade, married for 2 years. We also have a dog named Guinness, so I am comfortable around animals (although I am allergic to cats, but I take medication for it).

I find that childcare is incredibly rewarding and I love what I do. At my current job, I work in one to one therapy and help curate activities in a play based setting. I’m a big fan of art activities, movement through music, sensory experiences and have many ideas on how to bring these to your children should you choose me.
