A little bit about me. I am currently a nanny for 2 doctors in San Antonio. I nanny for 3 boys. 7yrs, 4yrs, and a 2yr old. i’ve worked for this family for about 2 years if not more. I am a sophomore at Texas State University. i’ve worked with children since i was a freshman in high-school. I have been a gymnastics assistant coach for the younger kids for 4 years and have been a first grade aid since i was a junior in high-school so for 2 years. I am currently majoring in Elementary Education. I have a sister with down-syndrome whom i take care of often.

Whatever the kid enjoys doing, i enjoy as well! The smile and happiness of a child is most important to me next to their safety!

The most important part about being a nanny...

As every response for a nanny should be is a child’s safety. A child’s safety should always be the most important. Next to this is a child’s comfort, a child should be comfortable with whoever that nanny is and should be able to be themselves around that person. Lastly a child’s happiness.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a down-syndrome sister who is a year older than I am. We’ve always been close growing up and I consider her my best friend. In high-school I often joined her classroom to spend time with her and the other kids with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite nanny moments but i do say watching a baby that wasn’t even one yet now turn 2 and saying my name and saying “i love you” is something i hold very close to my heart and by far the best nanny moment. Next to this was going to their talent show and watching how happy they were to be on stage and to see how excited they were when they saw someone show up for them.
