A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Susan, and I’m a dedicated and energetic caregiver with a strong passion for working with children. I have experience coaching and working closely with kids, which has helped me build patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a fun, structured environment.
I love being active, staying organized, and helping children grow not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning engaging activities, or simply being a positive and supportive presence, I take pride in creating a safe and encouraging space for kids.
I’m currently looking for an opportunity in a new city where I can continue doing what I love while also building meaningful relationships with a family. I’m reliable, responsible, and truly care about the well being and development of the children I work with.
I would love the opportunity to connect and see if I’d be a great fit for your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my nanny experience, I have also worked in a preschool setting, where I gained hands-on experience supporting early childhood development and caring for young children in a structured environment.

I’ve also worked closely with children through coaching and mentorship roles, supporting kids across various age groups including middle school and high school. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to different personalities and developmental stages.

Across all of my roles, I’ve been responsible for creating routines, leading activities, supporting emotional development, and building positive relationships with both children and their families. My experience ranges from infants and toddlers to older children, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can grow and thrive.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy creating a balance of fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities both inside and outside the home. I love taking children on outings to the park, storytime, puppet shows, and other kid-friendly events, as well as indoor play spaces where they can explore and stay active.

At home, I enjoy spending time outdoors, encouraging imaginative play, reading together, and incorporating activities that support learning and creativity. I like to follow the child’s interests while also introducing new experiences that help with their social, emotional, and physical development.

Overall, I aim to create a positive, engaging environment where children can have fun, learn, and feel supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and cared for. Building a strong relationship with both the child and the family is essential, as it allows for consistency, open communication, and a sense of stability.
I believe it’s also important to support a child’s overall development emotionally, socially, and physically while being attentive to their individual needs and personality. Being reliable, patient, and present each day helps create a positive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel secure.
