I have experience with K-8 students in schools as well as Early Elementary Special Education students (ages 3-5). I love reading, music, being outdoors, and arts and crafts. I have many, many years (20+) working with children (from infants through early teens) in various settings. I have experience with children with disabilities as well. I have a degree in early childhood education from Oakland University-from 2006.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite activities are going to the library, crafts, reading, being outdoors ALOT, and anything with animals-there’s many more activities but these are my favorite.

Having a connection with the child and his/her families. I want whoever I work for to have memorable experiences ( I believe there are so many experiences to be had without spending a lot of money or even free). I want my kid(s) and families that I work with/for to look forward to spending time together and vice versa, and be seen as more than just another babysitter or nanny, I am always open to learning about other cultures and/or traditions,

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked one on one with autistic children; my nephew has autism as well. I have worked with 3-5 year old children who are in an early elementary special education program.
