I love doing hands on activities in the home as well as outside the home. we can go to museums, the zoo, aquarium, the park (when its cooler), and anything else. Inside the home we can cook/bake, do arts and crafts, as well as educational things.

Being a preschool teacher for 9 years I have worked with children who are mildly on the spectrum as well as children who are nonverbal. I have also worked with kiddos who have ADHD.

One of the best parts of being a preschool teacher is having an aha moment. When something just clicks for the child. It's an amazing feeling to experience especially if it's something the child has been struggling with. I have become so close with most of the families who have come through my classroom. To this day I am still in contact with some of them. I love seeing my students grow into bright happy children.
