A little bit about me

I'm a jewelry and fiber artist. Enjoy kids who like to do crafts and learn about the world around them. Also was a mucisian in my younger days. Lots of experience with all age children. Did after school crafts with children ages 7 to 9 yr olds. I also was a Guardian ad Litem volunteer for 8 years in Volusia County courts. My job was to stand up in court for children in foster care. Growing up I was the oldest and babysat many children in our small town. I love the babies but I also love the interaction with older kids who have a sense of humor. I am willing to work part time. My one long term experience for 3 1/2 years was for a child who I took care of in my home while her parents worked. I treated her like she was mine. She was a real character. We are still in touch to this day. She, her husband and her Dad were in town a couple of months ago and we met for lunch. She has 2 boys of her own who I watch growing up on FB. I enjoy cooking and love baking. love to teach kids to cook.
