Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I try to stray away from electronics as much as possible when it comes to kids. I love talking to them and hearing their thoughts and ideas about things so I believe it’s important to have a healthy boundary with video games and iPad/TV. I’m not opposed to making time for those things though! Outdoor activities are my favorite, but Michigan can be limiting on that. Arts and crafts and Legos are some of my favorite things to do indoors!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure you’re socializing with kids! I’ve noticed a lot of people just throw an iPad or movie on and call it a day. While I still think there is a healthy boundary to electronics, I think we need to let kids be kids while they can and embrace toys with imagination and creativity!

I’m a big hide and seek fan and I once created an “invisibility cloak” that could be used in the game. I acted like I couldn’t find the two little boys I was watching for over half an hour. They were getting such a kick out it and it was a staple game we’d play every time I watched them!
