I love nature and the outdoors so I would really enjoy going on walks, to the beach, going to a playground, water days, etc. I also enjoy reading to little ones and listening to music/dancing. As an artist I love getting creative with finger-painting and other art projects. I've recently been getting very much into cooking and baking so that would be a plus!

The most important thing about being a nanny, for me, is to encourage little ones to have fun while learning about the world, their surroundings and feelings.

My experience with special needs children...
I primarily worked with special needs children as a volunteer in the hospital. My experience with this was always short given my shifts were only 3 hours. I also have two years of experience nannying children with ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute favorite moment as a nanny was when the 19 month old I was with for the summer finally learned how to say my name! It was such a heart warming feeling and I will not forget it.
Another favorite would be a summer day I spent with the two 18-month-olds in the front yard. I set up some sprinklers and a kiddy pool, put some toys out there, and played music. We got ready in our swim gear and made an afternoon of it. The kids absolutely loved it and I had a blast playing in the water with them!
