I have worked for Tammy's tiny tots before which is a thrift store especially for small children. i have also baby sat several family members and friends children, i have even taken care of my neighbors special needs children over night before.

it really depends on how old the children are, however i do have my own son and daughter and we enjoy throwing the football outside playing with the farm animals on my farm and inside we enjoy coloring and arts and crafts activities.

i personally believe that the world is made by our children and its important for them to experience love and laughter and maybe a little disciplinary life lessons that teaches them to shine in this dull world. and the most important part of being a nanny is holding their hand through it all to let them know they are smart and important in every way in their own way.

i have taken care of children with autism ,ADHD, Speech impediment, and even paralysis and delayed motor skills. i like to figure out ways to help them overcome their fears and terrors of public people and i strive to help them feel just like every other child, i too am a bit soecial needs. i am a type one diabetic and got bullied in school because of it,
The most important part about being a nanny...
my son is socially awkward and doesn't like crowds, the best day I can recall to be my favorite, is when we went to the park and the park was crowded and he said "its ok, i can do this mom, you helped me not be afraid of what people think of me" and he wound up making a local, now close friend.
