Hello, my name is "Syd" and I've been working with kids since I was 17 years old and after over 20 years of experience, I can definitely say, I have a true passion for nuturing. I've worked with kids on the spectrum, potty trained or not. I have helped countless families potty train just so that their child would be eligible for day care. I like to be the one that families, especially mothers can friend on, whether they are dealing with post-partum or seasonal depression. I love a challenge and I love to take care of these babies exactly how the parents would in their absence.

"From June 2020 to May of 2021, Brittany helped care for my 99 yr old grandmother . Not only was this during the height of Covid (an extremely stressful situation) but my grandmother had also been recently diagnosed with having had several strokes. Her ability to communicate, walk and bathe disappeared overnight. During this time Brittany was a miracle worker. Helping me with bathing, feeding her and keeping her comfortable. During this time she lost her memory of her family and Brittany helped us navigate through that. From playing music that she liked, to creating “spa days” for her; Brittany truly was incredible helping us navigate these difficult times . I’m so grateful for all those months she was with us and the level of care she showed my grandmother was unmatched . I would recommend her to anyone !!!!"

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where a child feels comfortable and cared for. I believe it’s important to be patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs while supporting their development and maintaining a consistent routine. Building trust with both the child and their parents is also very important to me.

Finding common interests with my littles!! I'm a big kid myself so when we start talking about anime, books, comics, Marvel, DC and video games, it barely feels like I'm working!
