I think the most important part about being a nanny is actually taking care of the child/children at hand and meeting their needs as well as yours in a way. To spend time with them and play with them is one thing but to make sure they eat on time and sleep on their schedule and go outside at a time is another thing. Meeting their needs and expectations is what’s important.

The sweetest moment I have had with a child that I babysat before was when they said to me “ I love when you come over here to spend time with me. I don’t want you to leave. Please stay!” That was so sweet and kind. I couldn’t take it.
