I've worked with alot of special need children, some had Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Seizures Disorder, and others had. really bad behavioral problems. but there was always a chart that needed to be set and followed and with that, you can help them maintain and reach there goals.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The little girl i was caring for at the time runs up too me and she has paint all over her hair and her face, She's giggling and clapping her hands and while she's doing so she runs back into her room and I follow behind her and in her cute little voice she screams "ta-da!" And it was a family drawing and at the end of the drawing was me in the family added on. It was so cute, and she proceeded to say that the picture was for "me" since I was part of there family now.
