More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat from a young age, others and my own younger siblings. I have also held 2 nanny positions, one being part time Summers of 2018 and 2019, and another being full-time from Fall of 2020 to the Summer of 2021.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities that I would do would vary depending on the age of the child. I like to incorporate developmentally appropriate activities, even make lesson plans for parents to look at and know what it is we're doing. For example; In infancy, baby is still new to the world and we want to work on things like social and motor skills! Which can be as simple as letting baby explore themselves and the world around them!
I enjoy helping kids, of any age, learn new things while also making sure they have fun doing so! I think it is so important to create a positive relationship with learning which can be approached and dealt with at an early or later age!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is essentially being an overall help and positive edition to a family. I think that encompasses a lot of different responsibilities. It requires a nanny to be able to provide a safe environment where children feel and are safe, and parents feel their children are safe; if a parent feels more comfortable receiving updates throughout the day, it is my responsibility to take note of that and provide that for them. It is also important to be bringing something positive to the family. Although most families are looking for help, they are also looking for more, an extra caregiver, someone who can and will pour into their children, an abundance of different things that are essential to being a nanny to me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The child I nannied full time in 2020, I was able to do things like see her crawl and walk for the first time! It was rewarding and even made me emotional to watch her grow and learn with me! I even still talk to her parents and visit her till this day!
