I have minimal experience with special needs children other than autistic children. My cousin’s daughter is autistic and I sit with her sometimes. She is absolutely wonderful and I love spending time with her.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was nannying a 6 year old girl and a 10 year old girl, it was my first day so I was so nervous. We are at a pool and everything is going AMAZING suddenly there is a safety whistle and we get out of the water and these little delinquents look at each other smile and sprint in opposite directions leaving me absolutely mortified. Everything was fine and now we all laugh about it.
