I started working as a camp counselor when I was fifteen years old. I worked at that camp for five years, during the school year at that time I had a job as a bus counselor for kids in kindergarten to sixth grade.

I am very hands on and enjoy doing numerous activities with my nanny children. I love to craft, play board games, help with school projects, play sports, swimming, hiking, walking, and going to parks. I also love to go to libraries, museums, the zoo, and aquariums.

I am a nanny because these children are the worlds future. The feeling of helping children learn something new, and encouraging them to keep trying and not giving up, is the best feeling. It is so important to give kids love, support, patience, and confidence so they grow up to be amazing people in society. My favorite nanny moment was when I worked with my last employer with three kids ages five, eight, and ten. The eight year old boy was cautious with who he opened up to. I remember thinking he was going to be more difficult than the other two to gain my trust but once he did, I felt it in my heart at that moment and every day since then, he would give me a huge hug and confide in me. I will never forget that very important moment!
