The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite teacher moments was working closely with a toddler who had significant difficulty with communication and transitions. After weeks of consistency, visual supports, and one-on-one encouragement, the child independently used a sign to ask for help during a classroom activity. It was a powerful moment because it showed growth not only in communication, but also in confidence and trust.
