A little bit about me

I am a mother of 4 adult children, one transgender and 3 sons. One son is a special needs adult who had an IEP and is also a cardiac patient awaiting an aortic valve transplant. He is now living successfully on his own. I am also a grandmother of 4 beautiful granddaughters.

I have never been paid for a position of a nanny and I am only looking for part time work as a nanny who also offers light housekeeping and light meal preparations. I enjoy children and their pure whimsical nature.

I am 58 years old, a widow, and hold a bachelor's degree in business management with a minor in Psychology. I am also a retired real estate broker and Community Association Manager.

I am the treasurer of a 501(c)3 that provides Christmas for children and working towards adding scholarships for under privileged children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking children to museums, aquariums, the park, the beautiful Florida beaches, aviary's, library's, children movies, art classes, cooking classes, photography classes, gardening classes, fishing and so much more! Pretty much anything that has a valuable lesson to become a valuable person with a wealth of knowledge which inspires a child to be the best they can be.

My experience with special needs children...

My youngest son is Bi - Polar with intermittent explosive disorder with obsessive compulsive tendancies. He is also a cardiac patient. I have worked with many organizations which afforded him.the ability to become a succesful thriving independent adult. We acheived this thru behavioral specialists, mentors, psychiatrist's, medication, religion, JROTC, education and just plain learning as you go. Learning to.be open minded and open to everything that could make child the man he is today.

My oldest also had a congenital birth defect. A severe club foot. I did what I had to do.at a very young age to provide her with the best life possible at my expense. We reunited just a few days after her 26th birthday and still remain in touch to this day.
