Hi, my name is Tammy Andrea Henderson. I have over 8 years of experience working as a professional nanny, caring for children of all ages from infants to school-aged. I hold an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Long Beach City College, which has given me a strong foundation in child development and teaching practices.

I believe in play-based, child-led learning inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies, and I love bringing creativity into my care through music, dance, art, and introducing Spanish language. I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I also use sign language to help support early communication.

I hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with over 70 ECE units completed. Beyond my classroom experience, I’ve served as an advocate with Early Edge California, where I visited the State Capitol to fight for equal rights for family, friend, and neighbor unlicensed caregivers. My advocacy reflects my passion for elevating all forms of childcare and ensuring every child has access to quality early learning. In addition, I have hands-on experience working with children on the autism spectrum, supporting their growth with patience, creativity, and a gentle, individualized approach.
