A little bit about me

I will be relocating to Texas around May 2026 and look forward to supporting new families. I don’t have my driver’s license yet, but I’m fully willing to obtain one and open to discussing support with the process. I have many years of experience as a new‑mother’s helper and care provider, helping families through important transitions and giving children a strong foundation in their early years. I have experience caring for children with special needs and approach every child with patience, understanding, and individualized support. I also teach Pre‑K through 2nd‑grade skills and recently completed the 40‑hour RBT training, strengthening my knowledge of developmental and behavioral needs. I am up to date on First Aid and CPR and always prioritize safety, structure, and compassion.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My childcare experience includes working in Early Childhood Education (ECE), respite care, parent coaching, parent assisting, and serving as a temporary guardian. I have completed formal training and earned a certificate in this field, strengthening my understanding of child development and family support. I have experience caring for children and adults with feeding tubes and feeding challenges, as well as supporting individuals with physical limitations, including those who use wheelchairs, walking aids, or alternative communication methods. I am also able to think creatively and outside the box, adapting to each child’s unique needs and finding solutions that help families feel supported. These roles have allowed me to work with families with diverse developmental, physical, and behavioral needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy creating fun, meaningful activities that help children learn, grow, and feel cared for. Some of my favorite things to do include:
- Reading stories and building early literacy skills
- Singing children to sleep and creating calming bedtime routines
- Arts and crafts, sensory play, and hands‑on creative projects
- Outdoor play, nature walks, and exploring the world around us
- Music, movement, and simple games that support motor skills
- Learning activities for Pre‑K through 2nd grade
- Imaginative play, pretend scenarios, and child‑led exploration
- Quiet activities like puzzles, drawing, or building blocks
I tailor activities to each child’s abilities, interests, and developmental needs, and I love thinking outside the box to make learning fun, comforting, and accessible for everyone.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is the connection — not just with the child, but with the whole family. It’s about being someone they can rely on, someone who brings calm, patience, and understanding into their home. I believe in showing up with a full heart, ready to help, support, and make life a little easier wherever I can.
Some of the most meaningful moments come from seeing a child feel safe enough to grow, try new things, or trust me with their feelings. But just as meaningful is being there for the parents — offering reassurance, problem‑solving together, and being a steady presence during the ups and downs of family life. Knowing I can support both the child and the family, and play a small part in their journey, is what makes this work so special to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have many years of experience supporting children and adults with a wide range of special needs. My approach is patient, understanding, and individualized, always focused on helping each person feel safe, supported, and capable.
I have cared for individuals with feeding tubes and feeding challenges, providing calm, attentive assistance during meals and daily routines. I also have experience supporting children and adults with physical limitations, including those who use wheelchairs, walking aids, or alternative communication methods. I adapt activities, communication, and expectations to meet each person’s unique abilities, and I’m comfortable thinking outside the box to find solutions that work for them.
My background in Early Childhood Education, respite care, parent coaching, and my 40‑hour RBT training has strengthened my ability to support developmental, behavioral, and physical needs with confidence and compassion

The most important part about being a nanny...

There have been so many moments that stay with me. I love being helpful, whether it’s problem‑solving in the moment or finding a new way to support a child’s growth. Some of my favorite moments are when I get to see a child discover their own abilities — watching their confidence grow, seeing a new skill click, or witnessing a small breakthrough in their development. Those moments remind me why I love this work and why supporting families means so much to me.
