I ran an at home daycare for 8 years out of my home and took care of children of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing story time, coloring learning activities, organizational skills, playing board games, getting right down on the floor, playing trucks, cars, blocks, having tee time with kids helping them take care of their baby dolls. Going for walks, playing at the park, playing tag kickball whatever the child might prefer outdoors .

Honestly I just like finding out what the child likes to do and go off their needs and wants to make them happy as well as their parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part is making sure the parents can feel safe and don't have to worry about their children while they're away and making sure their child is happy and well cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children who had tracheotomies and belly tubes so I'm familiar with the procedures of cleaning and suctioning of a tracheotomy and feeding through a belly tube.
I've also had the opportunity to work with a little girl who had autism. The only thing that required was just a little extra patience and understanding.
