A little bit about me

Hi! I am a FCPS teacher and parent looking for some summer hours. I have been taking care of children my entire life, from caring for younger relatives starting at age 9 to working as a camp counselor all through high school and college, and finally as a teacher for the past 20+ years. Not only am I fun caregiver, I am also a great tutor for all subjects related to the humanities.

I have one child of my own and four step children. I have experience working with kids of all learning styles, including those on the autism spectrum. I am a creative person who truly enjoys spending time with kids and animals (I love cats!), playing games and doing art projects, as well as reading and going on exciting adventures. My kids are big now, and I sure do miss that fun we used to have at Touch a Truck events, petting zoos, and playing with the water table in the garden.

I am looking for something part time starting this summers, either at your house or mine.
