A little bit about me

I am the 55 year old mother of 4 children. Two grown and on their own, one in college and a sophomore in high school.
I have an Associate's Degree in Child Development and have worked with children in one capacity or another for most of my life.
I babysat my siblings during summer breaks as an adolescent, babysat for extra money while in high school and college, worked in daycare, had my own in-home daycare/after school care, worked in the church nursery, taught Faith Formation in elementary and middle school, was a substitute teacher in the Gwinnett county cluster and most recently have been a part-time nanny/babysitter for several families.
I have a real heart for children and am a nurturer and caregiver by nature. I can be firm when necessary but am also extremely caring and compassionate.
I relate to children on their level and I enjoy spending time with them. Getting to see the world through their eyes is not only refreshing but extremely rewarding.
