A little bit about me

I worked at Kiddie Academy from [phone number hidden], then took on some private clients and eventually was signed with Twinkle Toes, a premier nanny agency in the area. I've been working with Twinkle Toes for 4 years and also have some steady long-term clients.

My specialty is working with preschoolers, but I have worked with children from infant through age 11 as well. I love working with kids, and have my Early Childhood Education certificate.

I prefer working with private clients rather than a daycare, because I can spend more time with your child than is possible in a preschool or daycare environment. I am short - 5 feet tall - which I think helps with kids because they are less intimidated by me! I love animals and don't mind caring for and interacting with them as well. I am a vegetarian, so meal prep for meat probably wouldn't be something I'd be excited about. But I would do my best to help your family any way I can.

Working in a preschool /daycare for six months; children from infant to age 5.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like playing games like red light/green light or hide-and-seek; I like doing crafts or painting or play-doh or building with straws or whatever; I like running with them so they get exercise. I like reading to them and teaching them things like how to wash their hands, etc. I like to teach them ASL / sign language as well. I also like to sing little songs with them and teach them little dance moves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love to really love on and spend time with children; teaching them and playing with them. Watching their eyes light up when they understand new things. Children are so pure and honest; they have beautiful hearts and personalities! I want them to feel loved, adored, and confident that they can be whomever they want to be!

My experience with special needs children...

I haven't had a lot of experience with special needs children; they do tend to get more peaceful when they are around me, however. I like to sing to them.
