My name is Tatum and I am currently a student at Mount Mercy University, in Cedar Rapids, IA. I am a nursing major and I graduate in December of this year. I am CPR certified and have a lot of experience working with kids. I started babysitting when I was 13 years old, and started nannying when I was 16. I love working with and taking care of children of all ages. I relocated to Port Arthur, Tx for the summer months and I am looking for a summer position. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat since the age of 13 for many different families.
At the age of 16, I got a summer nanny position for a famliy with 3 children. Their ages were 3, 4, and 7.
At the age of 17, I got another summer nanny position, which I held for 3 consecutive summers. When I started at this job, the children were 3 and 7.
I also am a nursing student and have hands on experience with children of all ages through clinicals, I have also learned about developmental expectations and delays in all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside and exploring with children, as well as finding fun arts and crafts to do indoors when the weather doesn't cooperate.
I believe it is very important to get children hands on and engage in different activities to help them grow and learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The thing that matters most to me in regards to being a nanny is ensuring the safety of all children. With that being said, I am CPR certified and have basic life support training. I also believe that it is important for children to feel comfortable and safe with their caregivers so ensuring this will be a top priority.
