I have been working with children since sophomore year of high school in our school preschool classroom. I then graduated and continued to work in childcare being a teacher for all age groups from infant- school age.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had many children with autism in my classrooms in the past. It has really opened my eyes at how much of a different approach you need to help them learn and grow. As long as the parents and caregiver are on the same page as what’s the best plan for the child then it’s so humbling to see the children succeeded!
