The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most about nannying is to make your little guys feel safe and happy. To practically make yourself feel like family to them. It’s hard when kids can’t always be in their parents arms. My biggest goal in nannying is to be the kids biggest supporter and help them achieve so much in life while they are with me! I know how hard it is to be a parent who has to hand their kids to a babysitter in the mornings just to go maybe make minimum wage to keep a roof over their precious little heads and food in their silly little bellies. I believe in each and every moment to be treated as it is the last!

My experience with special needs children...

I have has experience with a 7yro boy with autism. I nannied for his family for two summers in a row. He was a handful and i loved it! I also have experience with a 2 year old boy while I had my son. He was such a joy! I loved seeing the two boys interact and become so smart together!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One day, we decided it was a good pool weather day. We hopped in our swimsuits and walked to the pool. I remember watching the sweet 7yro jumping and playing in the water. He was so happy, fully fed and having so much fun! Then after he got a little tired we decided to go home and whip out some cookies and a little snack board I made and watch some movies while eatin on the couch. It was such a blast!
