I am a college student at Georgia Southern majoring in criminal justice/family violence. I am originally from a small town in Florida but moved to Statesboro a year ago. I’m a great communicator and love to be around children. I hope to graduate college and pursue a career as a paralegal. Growing up I’ve always loved children, I would always volunteer to babysit and be around the kids when parents needed a little extra help. As a college student I knew I needed a job but most jobs are stressful, I found out about nanny lane and thought this is perfect. I love children and I know for a fact I won’t be stressed out!

I worked at a daycare, as well as car pooling children to and from school, I was a babysitter for 4 years for many different families, I also cooked and cleaned for 4 children at one time from the ages of 1-11. I have babysat children as young as newborns to 14 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Learning activities such as reading, counting, and writing. Playing with their toys with them as for I know children love when others interact with them, I love when children learn new things and i also love to learn new things about a child. As far as outdoor swimming, playing any sports the child may be interested in, going for walks, anything really that has to do with the outdoors I love to do

The most important thing for me is the safety of any child. I have heard many stories and news articles about children being left with nanny’s and babysitters and their child being unsafe. I will always require safety first before any activity that happens in my supervision

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment would probably be when I was washing the dishes and the child I was supervising came over to me and asked to help me wash the dishes. This child wasn’t very talkative and didn’t like very many people but I felt honored to know that he was comfortable with me.
