More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at church by taking care of kids from the ages of 1 - 2 years old. I did that for about 3 years, and it was a blast, I’d do anything for that experience again! As of other experiences I was a part time babysitter at the age of 16 to 19 before the pandemic hit. It was for a single mom with 2 sons, I adored them so much they became like my little brothers and it would be something I’d also like to experience again :))
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m open to doing any activities, either indoor or out!! For me it’s about making a child feel as comfortable as possible, and/or if there’s any activities a parent would like me to do with there child.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve never had any first hand experience with a special needs child. Therefore I do not have much to say, I’ve only been around- not taken care of. But, that is not to say I’m no open to taking care of a child with special needs. I’m much willing to accommodate the child’s needs at the parents request!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think a general favorite thing when it comes to taking care of a child is how much they grow. How over time, you can see the development and gain a relationship with them. It’s a really fun and exciting bond to have, and if I can make a child’s day and help a parent out then that’ll make me happy as a nanny :)
