I enjoy themed arts and DIY crafts, sensory play, outdoor play, walking or hiking, nature exploration, scavenger hunts, zoo trips, baking, dance parties, imaginative play, building activities, educational games and learning enrichment, STEM activities, interactive story time, creative writing and storytelling, group building, card and board games, plus more.

I prefer to focus on active, educational, sensory, hands on, and imaginative play rather than video games, as I believe these activities better support children's development.

Being a nanny involves much more than just childcare, it requires responsibility, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.
The most important aspects of being a nanny include: Ensuring physical and emotional safety at all times, encouraging learning, social skills, and emotional growth through age-appropriate activities, offering choices rather than demand, person centered approach tactics, managing mood swings, tantrums and unexpected situations with a calm, flexible approach while also leading by example. keeping open, honest communication, rapport building, refraining from making promises, active listening, encouragement, validation, positive reinforcements, providing comfort in a nurturing environment, showing dependability and consistency, engagement, assisting with household tasks related to the child, nurturing environment, establishing clear boundaries.

My experience with special needs children...

I have both personal and professional experience working with special needs children. My son has ODD, ADD, cognitive and speech delays, behavioral challenges, mood dysregulation disorder, auditory processing disorder, sensory issues, schizophrenia, and developmental disabilities. I worked closely with his care team to implement effective strategies and later became his CDCS worker in high school.

Professionally, I have worked with children with ASD, intellectual disabilities, troubled teens, depression, anxiety, and more. I have collaborated with ABA services to implement evidence-based strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. My experience allows me to provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized support to families seeking guidance and care. I am committed to creating a supportive and structured environment that fosters growth and development for every child.

The first time that I made a positive difference in a child's progress as that particular child literally lit up with complete joy and happiness, grinning from ear to ear.
