Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Love being active and going on stroller rides/walks, enjoys taking children to Karate or Drawing on the side walk with chalk and playing with bubbles and creating an art/ sensory. I do like creating slime or turning on the music to dance. I love reading learning books or teaching how to write letters.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to make sure communication is there with the family and to feel at home with every child. Also that anything during the day that is taught is child led and geared towards development.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with various specials needs and foster children. From Autism, sensory, speech delays or having common knowledge of emergency situations and handling them in a calm manner. I also offer simple Sign language to help with communicating and it is great to offer a family where a child has a hard time expressing themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It would defiantly be during art time or when I meet a child's developmental milestone for their age. I also love to see a child learn songs that I sing and repeat them to the parents. Creating a child led atmosphere! Or when it’s time to rock the baby asleep. I love how peaceful and beautiful they sound/look.
