As a childcare assistant at the FSU Childcare Center & Early Learning Program, where I help little ones learn, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. I’ve also cared for children as a babysitter, supporting families by creating fun and engaging experiences while making sure their needs are met. In addition, I had the opportunity to join a Global Medical Brigade to Greece, where I worked with healthcare professionals to support families and care for children in underserved communities. These experiences have deepened my love for working with kids and my commitment to providing compassionate, reliable care.

I enjoy reading stories together, practicing early literacy skills, and engaging in fun learning games that build problem-solving and creativity. I love doing arts and crafts that encourage imagination and fine motor skills, as well as simple science activities that spark curiosity about the world.

My experience with special needs children includes supporting children with developmental delays and unique learning needs in group and one-on-one settings. Through my role at the FSU Childcare Center & Early Learning Program, I’ve learned how to adapt activities to meet each child’s abilities while fostering inclusion, patience, and encouragement.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little girl I cared for learn to write her name for the first time. We practiced together every day with fun tracing games, songs, and lots of encouragement. The day she proudly showed her parents her paper with her name written all on her own was such a rewarding moment for both of us, it reminded me how meaningful it is to be part of a child’s growth and milestones.
