Hellooo, My name is Tenyl (Tah-neil) but i usually prefer Tee. I’m 23 years young and i’ve been watching kids my whole life although I officially became a nanny in 2019. I love kids and wish to some day have my own but until then I’ll be helping families that need an extra set of hands. I love to read, i love to paint. i’m very big on self care and cry if you need to because hey sometimes i just need to cry it out too. i love disney movies and cartoons. it’s a little cold for it now but i love swimming and love to take the kids outside for activities. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Growing up i was in church a lot and i was usually over the kids classes. I made sure the kids weren’t breaking anything and that everyone was okay and having appropriate fun since we were in church, I also did little church activities with them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Hide n Seek, learning games the occasional video game depending on the age group. i love doing kahoot games with older kids for prizes and snacks. when watching girls i’ll literally sit down and play dolls with them. while watching boys i’ll play with cars with them or whatever else they want. Outside activities are great when it isn’t cold out haha. I love music and feel like music helps a lot.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The safety of the kids and making sure they’re happy and having fun. As long as everyone is happy, smiling and safe, everything is great.

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of a 3 year old set of twin girls that were both nonverbal autistic. it was definitely a learning experience that i wouldn’t change for anything. I learned how to communicate with them and how to care for them when they couldn’t say what they wanted. They were so loving and gentle even though the world was scarier for them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One night after i got all the girls’ baths out of the way and we were all on the couch watch princess and the frog, we ended up all falling asleep there and when their mom came home she took a picture and put a blanket over us. she said she’d never seen them so comfortable with someone other than her❤️ i miss them so much
