Being able to help the children grow on a more traditional level and 101 level. Helping with all there growth and development and watching them hit milestones. :)
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with many special needs children. I have done volunteering at Crossroads church and I absolutely adored each and every child that came into my class. I have also done DSP work with special needs children, young adults, and seniors. I absolutely loved it and loved how I could be like family to them. They looked to me like I was one of their own and always made sure nobody was left out of anything we did. We always had a blast dancing around the house and taking car rides to get ice cream listening to whatever music of their choice.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has to be when one of the children I watched finally said my name. Also seeing the child finally walk after working with the child for a while.
Another one would be when I had to get off and one of the children I watched asked me where I was going and why I couldn’t just stay there with them lol. And they told me they loved me and they didn’t want me to leave lol.
