I’ve always cared for children in the family & out side of the family! I’ve always been very gentle and willing with babies and children! I’m a an auntie of 12, so I have many experience over the years !! being trusted and having that huge responsibility of watching, teaching & caring for someone’s child is very important to me, because I understand the love parents have for their children!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like doing little fun puzzle games, that peek their interest based on what they like! doing physical activities that can be fun, like hand stands, cartwheels, front rolls, or just doing weird things since I know children like unordinary things which can peek their imagination! I like talking with children, to seek their interest, ideas, to know their likes and dislikes! I enjoy learning games as in like random conversations about facts, or topics to keep it light not too complicated for them!
The most important part about being a nanny...
getting to know a child as their own person as they are getting older, you see them changing from when they were 4 to 7! & knowing the impact you have on them to take a role or an experience in they life is very important to me & valuable!
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve only had experience with children that has ADHD very mild, but it was diagnosed but I have relatives that have disabilities, so it wouldn’t be my first time in the presence of someone who has them .
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say my favorite moment as a babysitter/nanny! would be taking care of them having that responsibility! & also when they are open and goofy with me is the best thing!
