I am currently a teacher with two years of teaching experience; heading into my third year come August!
I am an aunt to 7 wonderful nieces and nephews. I grew up in a large household with 7 other siblings and some of my first memories include changing diapers!
My first job at 13 years old was to nanny two children who I continued to nanny for 4 years which was such a blessing to watch them grow up. I also have experience nannying toddlers and young children under the age of 3.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love outdoor activities during the summer time first and for most! I think it is so beneficial for children to be outside and active. This includes the park, swimming, walking, looking at flowers, sandboxes, riding bikes, etc. My favorite indoor activities would include arts and crafts; it is so fun and engaging and allow kids the freedom of creativity.
My experience with special needs children...
I graduated college with my bachelors degree in Special Education. I am a licensed teacher of the blind and visually impaired. I currently teach a multitude of age ranges and needs of children depending on the disability accompanying a visual impairment.

Hi everyone, I'm Connor Sandman. I'm 18 years old and live in LaGrange IL. I am looking for a relatively full time nanny position this summer beginning in June. I am looking to work 3-5 days per week (I am available from as early as needed to about 5pm on weekdays). I have two years of experience as a summer camp counselor and two years of experience coaching both swim and volleyball. I love working with kids, and work especially well with upper elementary/middle school ages. I work well with kids with special needs. Although I won't always have access to a car, I will on some days depending on my family's needs, and will always be able to get myself to work regardless of car access. I am fully sufficient in the kitchen and can cook whatever is needed (I do not eat meat or fish but I am happy to prepare them), and I have no trouble managing household tasks.
