The kids call me Julie. I’m a passionate and experienced teacher/nanny with over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages from newborns to teenagers. I began as a middle school English teacher in Thailand and later moved to the U.S., working with infants, toddlers, and older kids.

I’m reliable, warm, and deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment. I’m CPR certified, pet-friendly (I have two dogs!), and love outdoor play, reading, and supporting children’s development. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While I was studying at university in Thailand, I worked as a teacher assistant at a summer camp for children aged 5 to 15. I cared for them around the clock—helping with daily routines, organizing activities, and making sure they felt safe and supported. This hands-on experience taught me how to manage groups of children with different needs and helped shape my passion for working with kids.

Not only that, but through our student organization, I also participated in volunteer camps where we taught and helped local children learn through fun, engaging activities. These experiences deepened my love for working with kids and strengthened my ability to connect with them in both structured and playful settings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing age-appropriate activities like reading stories, sensory play, and arts and crafts with younger kids. With older children, I love going to the park, library, riding bikes, playing sports, and exploring nature.

I’m also a strong swimmer and have completed Water Safety Certification, so I’m confident supervising and swimming with children at pools or beaches.

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, happy, and loved. I TRULY LOVE WHAT I DO. being part of their everyday moments, helping them learn, grow, and have fun. Not only do I see them grow, but with every step they take, I grow with them too.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a toddler I cared for ran up to me after preschool, gave me the biggest hug, and whispered, ‘I missed you all day.’ It was such a sweet reminder that the bond we build with kids really matters. Little moments like that always stay with me.
